Julen Iztueta, based in Neàpolis, participates in the initiative ‘Art off Hamburg’ with an exhibition entitled “Empty Mirrors”

“Empty Mirrors” is a collection of 50 collages showing disputed subjects: broken and fragmented bodies that project a self-reflective gaze. From images collected over several years, cropped and assembled, empty and recomposed bodies are shown. from a plural and diverse perspective.

The exhibition is curated by Galerie 21 and is part of the Art Off Hamburg cultural events developed in the German city and organized by the association of independent art spaces. This multidisciplinary artistic event aims to revive the public’s enthusiasm for art, culture and the urban promenade. Exhibition spaces and outdoor venues feature art, concerts, shows, dance and literature from late July to the first week of September 2021.
