Vilanova i la Geltrú presents the Agència dels Secrets, an innovative Neapolis project to promote the city through gamification at Palau Robert (Barcelona)

Vilanova i la Geltrú has launched the Agency of Secrets initiative, an interactive and gamified experience that allows you to rediscover the municipality through 10 analogue and digital games, which show hidden aspects of the town’s history.

The initiative, carried out with European funds and also implemented in other cities in Jordan, Lebanon and Italy, opens the door to new formats for promoting a city’s tourist attractions through the game.

It has 3 objectives:

  • Promotion of gamification among the city’s tourism managers.
  • Creation of job opportunities among developers.
  • Increase tourism flows in the municipalities that offer these games. An initiative suitable for all kinds of people: families, couples, friendships…

A complete project that in 35 km on routes, 267 puzzles and 460 points of 39; interest encompasses history, mystery and tourist interest.
